OUTREACH PROGRAM IN BAGUIO CITY

Bombo Radyo Baguio, Star FM Baguio in partnership with The Rotary Club. Of Metro Baguio and Rotary Club of Hadano Naka Japan has recently concluded a weekend Medical and Dental Outreach Program that benefited a total of 1,500 beneficiaries conducted on July 14, 2019,

During the outreach program, over 50 medical volunteers responded to the call to perform medical, dental and optical services to the beneficiaries.

President Ofelia Villanueva said that the event is an instrument to augment the healthcare system of the region as it is centered on the last and less priveledged, as such we were overwhelmed by the number of people who responded. With testimonials from beneficiaries and the general positive feedback, we are challenged to make this a continued event

Dir. Shingo Komaki, representative of RC Hadano Naka Japan said that he was overwhelmed by the size of respondents and had suggested that such services be more extended to the more distant barangays who are in dire need of the said service. We assured him that we will look for the site of that he is seeking and we conduct the same in the near future.
